The last time I was bound for an SCDA event in Aberdeen I finished the last 30 miles in an ambulance, and instead of attending the  National AGM and a performance of “Joseph” I ended up in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary – so I can tell you I was VERY glad to get there in one piece this time, and attend the Friday evening of the Norther Division Finals.   And it was well worth the trip.  The standard of performances was superb, and I was so pleased to see BIPs with three young male leads, very talented, and a find for the club I am sure.

Thank you for such a warm welcome. Its an absolute honour to be able to attend all the different Districts and Divisions, I’m just disappointed I didn’t get a bit of Northerns anniversary cake!  And on that note, look out soon for information about our celebration event at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in July.

We must have passed each other on the road Jackie!

You saw the runner-up on Friday and I think that you will agree that the standard was very high and the hospitality very warm.

I had a small piece of the anniversary cake and although I don’t want to make you too jealous, it didn’t last very long!
