Western Division is so immensely proud of all our young actors competing today at the Youth Divisional Final. Congratulations to Kirkintilloch Players who go on to represent us at the Scottish Youth Final in June, and a huge well done to Dunlop Youth who were crowned Runners-up and Greenock Youth who take home the Stage Presentation award. Here is the official “winners photo” and some more relaxed shots of a brilliant day.

Do you spend 3 nights in a darkened theatre writing down your thoughts on what you are seeing? Have you read every script and know every pause and laugh line? Do you think “how will I tell them...”? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these chances are you are one of our many unsung reserve Adjudicators.

SCDA & SASDA present a free Workshop to help, encourage and advise anyone who is already carrying out this essential role in our Festivals, or anybody who’d like to start.

The event will take place at the Park Hotel Kilmarnock, and is being kindly funded by Western Division.

The afternoon will include 2 presentations by our friends at Kilmardinny Players which you can adjudicate workshop style with the support of Dave Bennett and a Carole Williams, you’ll also be able to ask questions and chat with the group.

If you are interested please contact jacksw@live.co.uk for more information or to book you place.

All are welcome.
