One Act Play competition 2021
It is our intention to be as flexible as possible with the the festival for 2021. As you see below, the British Final has been pushed back to the end of September. Each Division has been given flexibility to make local arrangements. These will be published as they become available.
Stage 1 of F1 to be submitted by the first weekend in December
Stage 1 Saturday 13 March 2021
Stage 2 Saturday 10 April 2021
Stage 2 date of 10th April no stage 1 required
F1 stage 1 by 13 March
F1 Stage 2 by 10 April 2021.

SCDA National AGM
This took place using Zoom on Saturday 7 November at 11am.
Our own Drama Adviser Carole Williams interviews Ken Alexander. There are sound issues with this recording, but we feel the wide interest this will have outweighs this.
Continuing our series on choosing a play, SCDA’s National Drama Advisor, Carole Williams, in conversation with Dominic Hill, Artistic Director of the Citizens Theatre, Glasgow about the process he uses for selecting plays to direct. Dominic shares his thoughts on what makes a good play and the importance of the ongoing relationship with the audience.
