Playmaker is SCDA's programme of support for amateur writers.
Playmaker days
We can run Playmaker days for groups of amateur writers.
We bring a professional playwright to a community venue, where amateur
writers can enjoy a half or full day skill-building workshop. We can tailor
the visit to suit the group, or run a general day which is open to anyone.
Playmaker also helps amateur playwrights get advice on their work. In
2009 we hope to bring together a pool of readers who are willing to comment
on your play and give feedback. We do have to charge for this service,
but we will keep the fee as low as possible, just to help contribute to
our core costs.
