Geoffrey Whitworth Competition

This is an annual UK wide competition, open to plays making their debut performance at a District Round of the One Act Play Festival anywhere in the UK. The play must not have been published anywhere prior to its performance. Authors are encouraged to revise their scripts after performance prior to submission. All plays entered for the Geoffrey Whitworth competition are read and marked by a professional judge. The winner of the Geoffrey Whitworth competition is presented with the prize at the British Final of the One Act Play Festival. The application form is available from link on the Home page.
